Gardens of Tomorrow

“I imagine mutated plants and altered bodies in a post-anthropocentric reality guided by ancient wisdom. Glass, metal, plastic, and rubber latex serve as contaminants and prosthetics and are intertwined with wood, trunks, leaves, and twigs, found in various neighborhoods of Los Angeles. These speculate on how plant intelligence may adapt to environmental challenges and become resilient to human pollution and intervention, proposing a new aesthetic, what I call renaturing.”
