Gardens of Tomorrow

“I imagine mutated plants and altered bodies in a post-anthropocentric reality guided by ancient wisdom. Glass, metal, plastic, and rubber latex, act as contaminants and prosthetics and are intertwined with wood, trunks, leaves, and twigs - found in various neighborhoods of Los Angeles. These speculate on how plant intelligence may adapt to environmental challenges and become resilient to human pollution and intervention proposing a new aesthetic, what I call renaturing.”
